Hours

If you would like to visit this office or to speak with an Immigration Information Officer, you must have an appointment scheduled by USCIS, or you must schedule an INFOPASS appointment, on the USCIS website. When you come to your scheduled INFOPASS appointment, you must bring the printout of your INFOPASS appointment and you must bring a photo ID with you.


General Information Counter:

The general information counter is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00AM to 3:30PM and Wednesday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.

INFOPASS appointments are scheduled five days a week at the times listed above.

The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday.


Information Lobby Detail :

If you do not have access to the internet, INFOPASS appointments may be scheduled using the INFOPASS kiosk located in the information lobby of the Anchorage Field Office.

The INFOPASS Kiosk is available for use, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00AM to 3:30PM and Wednesday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM.

Bus: Public transportation is available through People Mover bus number 12.


Driving Directions

The Anchorage Field Office is located on the first floor in the Michael Building, which is at the southwest corner of 10th Avenue and Gambell Street.


From the Mat-Su Valley:

Take Glenn Highway west to Gamble Street.

Take a left onto Gamble Street and go south to 10th Avenue.

Take a right onto 10th Avenue.

Turn left into the Michael Building parking lot.


From Seward/Kenai Peninsula:

Take the Sterling/Seward Highway north to Anchorage.

The Seward Highway becomes Ingra Street.

Turn left at 10th Avenue.

Go west 2 blocks.

Turn left into the Michael Building parking lot.
